São Paulo, March 3, 2011- Multiplus (BM&FBOVESPA: MPLU3) established a partnership with Extrafarma, one of the largest drugstore networks in the North and Northeast of Brazil, with 128 stores distributed throughout the states of Amapá, Pará, Piauí, Maranhão and Ceará. The company, which was already a Multiplus accrual partner, is now part of the coalition network, meaning that it can now redeem Multiplus points. The agreement is part of the “Club Extra” relationship program, in which points may be exchanged for prizes or a number of services.
The partnership with Extrafarma reinforces the Company’s strategy of consolidating its presence in the drugstore segment through important regional partnerships
